Exchange Rate Alerts on your phone

Get exchange rate updates and alerts

A great exchange rate can make a huge difference when it comes to sending money abroad. The trouble is, rates change all the time. Whether you’re swapping euros for Moldovan leu or Pounds sterling for Polish zloty, how can you be confident you’re getting a fair exchange rate

That’s why we created Azimo’s exchange rate alert, a new feature that means you’ll only ever pay an exchange rate you feel comfortable with.

How do rate alerts work?

Choose an exchange rate you feel comfortable with and you’ll receive an alert when the real time exchange rate reaches that point.

All you have to do is tell us the country you’re sending to and the rate you want. Once you’re set up, we’ll notify you the moment it becomes available. It’s that simple.

For those of you who like to keep a close eye on currency market fluctuations, you can subscribe to our new exchange rate daily email. That way, you can track the progress of your chosen exchange rates.

Whatever your preference, we’ve got you covered. Choose from over 200 countries and territories, over 60 currencies and get as many alerts as you like.

How do I create an alert?

You can create an alert on the Azimo website or app. You don’t need an Azimo account to create an alert, but it definitely helps.

Download the latest version of the Azimo app and you can add, change or delete your alerts in your account settings.

Getting started is easy:

  1. Tap the ‘My Azimo’ icon in the top right corner of the app.
  2. In the ‘My Azimo’ menu, select ‘Settings’.
  3. Tap ‘Manage rate alerts’ and then ‘Set new alert’.
  4. Search your currency and select from the dropdown menu.
  5. Tick the alerts you’d like to receive.
  6. Enter your target exchange rate, tap ‘Confirm’ and then ‘Done’.

You can view or manage your rate alerts from the ‘Manage rate alerts’ page.

Just remember, once you receive a notification your alert will be deleted. If you’d like to receive a new alert, you need to create a new one.

Get even more for your money

To find out the true cost of a money transfer, remember that fee-free or mid-market rate offers don’t tell the whole story. Use a price comparison platform like Monito to find out who offers the best overall price. Usually, it’s Azimo.

Azimo’s pricing page shows you just how much you can save by choosing Azimo instead of Western Union or other providers.

Register with Azimo today and you’ll get your first two transfers fee-free (five for Azimo Business customers). Download the Azimo app on iOS or Android and enjoy Azimo’s market-leading rates and low, transparent fee on international money transfers.
