Azimo visits Jollibee

Azimo goes to Jollibee

When asked to sum up their first trip to Jollibee, our team’s responses ranged from 🚀 to 💫 . Encouraged to expand on their emojis, words like “yummy”, “delicious” and “awesome” filled the air. Keep on reading to learn more about Jollibee and check out the highlights of Azimo’s first Jollibee outing.

What is Jollibee?

Jollibee is a chain of fast-food restaurants known for their fried chicken but serving an eclectic range of Filipino cuisine. Founded in Quezon City in 1978, Jollibee only made it to UK shores four decades later. But it wasn’t the first Jollibee outside of the Philippines. That’s right, the Jollibee franchise has spread to 24 other countries and territories, including:

And the Jollibee universe continues to expand. Delayed by the pandemic, some of the Azimo marketing team (Adam, Alex, Irene, Harj, Matt and Narcis) finally made it to Earl’s Court in London to visit Jollibee’s flagship store.

The meal

Rather than give you a bite-by-bite account, we’ll let these pictures tell the story. Below is a selection of snaps from the afternoon.

Order, order! Adam and Narcis doing the honours.
Cheers, everyone! Pre-meal smiles and an iced tea for Matt.
Left: Narcis gets to grips with the Spicy Chicken Burger. Packing a chilli punch, it’s a marinated chicken fillet coated in a fiery breading served with sriracha mayonnaise. Right: Harj ponders whether to ask for a spoon or hot dog roll with his Jolly Spaghetti. A crowd favourite, it’s topped with hot dog pieces and melted cheese.
